RE: [ProgSoc] win95 dll's
Did you install IE4? If you do, you'll have to de-install IE4 and then
re-install IE4.
(Use this method if you don't want to format your HD)
If you don't have IE4 installed before, you may have to re-install all
the applications you have (not just Eudora). As each application
installs different DLL into you Windows\System directory. It is very
hard to tell which DLL you need to replace.
However, I'll try to install Win95 SP1 first and see whether it works
or not before I move on and do all the re-installs.
Win95 SP1 can be found in the MS web page.

Good luck and have fun. :-)

Subject: [ProgSoc] win95 dll's
i was just wondering if anyone could help me out...
i re-installed win95 recently and i accidently clicked the "copy over
all
the newer dll's" thing. now my computer refuses to recognise most of
my
programs. most run with some features unaccessible (eg. eudora
doesn't
show mailboxes, wordpad [?] doesn't even open files, etc.)
i've tried uninstalling/reinstalling eudora (being my only try) a few
times but it still doesn't work. i tried reintralling windows but it
doesn't solve the problem.
apart from completely formating my drive and "starting over" does
anyone
have any suggestions?
if i DO have to start over, can anyone suggest whether getting a
cd-writer
or zip drive is better in terms of the future?
