Network Specialists (2 positions, Sydney and/or Melbourne)

The role manages on-time, on-budget projects to customer expectations as the
leader of the engagement team or as an individual contributor.
Prior experience in the delivery of projects requiring in depth knowledge of at
least 3 of the following: SunOS, Solaris, TCP/IP, related protocols, RMON,
OSPF, ATM, Fast Ethernet, SNA, DecNet, SPX/IPX, SKIP, HP Openview, CiscoWorks,
NETSYS.
Degree qualifications in computer science or related discipline, coupled with
7-9 years of related experience, and/or the appropriate mix of education and
experience.
Security Specialist (Sydney, Canberra or Melbourne)
----------------------------------------------------
Manages on-time, on-budget projects to customer expectations as the leader of
the engagement team or as an individual contributor.
The ideal applicant will possess strong technical skills in 3 or more of the
following areas: Solaris, SunOS, network security, SNMP, Firewalls, C, access
control services, sendmail, DNS, Internet hosts, installation, configuration and
audit of applications, data management, TCP/IP. Must have pervious consulting
experience in security. Australian Government Clearance is a benefit.
Degree qualifications in computer science or related discipline, coupled with
7-9 years of related experience, and/or the appropriate mix of education and
experience.
SAP Basis Engineer/SAP Project Manager (Melbourne Based)

Manages on-time, on-budget projects to customer expectations as the leader of
the engagement team. Supervises staff and subcontractors in delivery, and may
manage several prjects simultaneously.
Requires strong knowledge and experience in the areas of database design and
development, Unix operating systems and SAP Basis architectures. SunOS and
Solaris highly desirable. The Project Manager will have performed pervious
successful SAP implementations.
Typically requires tertiary qualifications in computer science or related
discipline in conjunction with 7-10 years related experience, and/or the
appropriate mix of education and experience.
Systems Specialist/Systems Managers

(2 positions, one each in Sydney, Melbourne)
The role is responsible for providing applications, software and systems support
to customers. Provides solutions to a variety of complex software support
problems and makes recommendations to customers and Sun concerning site
configurations and project scheduling.
The ideal applicant will have a successful track record delivering quality
projects requiring in-depth knowledge of at least 3 of the following: SunOS,
Solaris, TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, NIS+,DNS, C, Unix shells, Volume Manager, Jump
Start, SolarNet, Teamware. Performance and capacity planning for UNIX
environments is also desired.
Tertiary qualifications in computer science or related discipline in conjunction
with 4-6 years experience, and/or the appropriate mix of education and
experience.
Project/Program Manager (Canberra)

Manages on-time, on-budget projects to customer expectations as the leader of
the engagement team. Supervises staff in delivery, and may manage several
projects simultaneously.
Excellent project management skills required with at least 5 years of previous
project management experience preferred. Demonstrated success with delivering
projects on-time to meet customer needs. Experience in supervising project
teams and staff. Proven experience in winning and delivering business. Prior
experience with Sun hardware and software products is highly desirable.
Tertiary qualifications in computer science or related discipline in conjunction
with 7-10 years related experience, and/or the appropriate mix of education and
experience.
High Availability and Large Scale Systems Specialist (Sydney or Melbourne)

Manages on-time, on-budget projects to customer expectations as the member of
the engagement team or as an individual contributor.
Prior experience in technical support and installation of UNIX high
availability systems. Knowledge of Sun availability products as well as
Veratis file system highly regarded. Additionally, the ideal applicant will
possess a successful track record delivering quality projects requiring in-depth
knowledge of at least 3 of the following of the following: SunOS, Solaris,
TCP/IP, NFS, NIS, NIS+,DNS, C, Unix shells, Volume Manager, Jump Start,
SolarNet, Teamware. Migration Planning Installation and Technical support
experience for Large Scale Unix Systems is also required.
Degree qualifications in computer science or related discipline in addition to
6-8 years related experience, and/or the appropriate mix of education and
experience.
Senior Architect/Consultants (2 Positions Available, Sydney/Melbourne)

The ideal applicant will possess 8-10 years Object Oriented software
development/methodology, projects, and commercial/financial applications.
Tertiary qualifications in computer science, engineering, or a related
discipline, and/or the appropriate mix of education and experience.
Hands-on lead architect of application systems with Java, JavaAPI, Java
architecture, Java tools, internet technologies plus C++, Unix, and large
systems design experience. Capable of full systems design from conception to
architecture to implementation.
Architect/Consultants (2 Positions Available, Sydney/Melbourne)

The ideal applicant will possess 6+ years Object Oriented software
development/methodology, projects, and commercial/financial applications.
Hands-on architect of application systems with Java, JavaAPI, Java architecture,
Java tools, internet technologies plus C++, Unix, and large systems design
experience. Capable of systems design and programming for pilots from
conception to architecture to implementation.
Additionally, candidates will possess:
5+ years client/server application design & development experience
5+ years: C++ & Object Oriented development experience
- GUI development: MS Windows or X Window System (Motif/OpenLook)
- RDBMS experience (preferably Oracle or Sybase)
- Project leadership experience
Familiarity with: - Network programming, TCP/IP concepts. Eg., socket
programming, RPC, IIOP, CORBA
- Unix (Solaris preferred)
Hands-on Java and Internet application development skills
