I am currently converting a whole heap of commercial software
documentation from nroff/troff format to HTML. Something of the order of
30 or 40 thousand lines or so all up. As an idea, I would be willing to
aid in the conversion of TFM from LaTeX to HTML, doing as I am now...
mostly by hand.
My experience with script converters is that they can be useful,
but a lot needs to be done by hand, particularly hypertext links, but
this may just be in the conversions I am doing right now. I prefer to
write a few customised ed command files and then just filter all the raw
files through it and do the rest by hand.
Anyhow.. this is just an idea. It doesn't much matter if you love
it or hate it. The offer is there though.
P.S. I'm willing to write a bit of spiel on Forest if it is
a) wanted, and
b) not going to be done by anyone else already.
