Yeah, ok, so I did rave on a bit. :)

Thought: Aren't computers supposed to make life easier by
removing menial tasks from our worries by handling them? ITD have had a
system in place all year that sends you mail if u exceed a certain disk
usage limit (about 10Mb). What do we need an administrator for? Let's
write some code! :)
Of course, some ppl are using more disk space than others for
perfectly valid reasons. Are people willing to allow these persons more
disk space than average if a quota system were invoked? Any disk-space
admin would have to deal with that too. Knowing who actually _needs_ more
disk space as a matter of course would be a must.
Seriously tho, I'd love to take the job, really I would, but like
just about everyone else, I have other things to do (like uni) which tend
to take up most of my time. :)
re: the concept of needing more disk space, yes, I guess that has
to be payed for somehow, if we can't skive another disk off Sun. Q: what
actually happens to all our membership monies? I haven't seen many events
being run by ProgSoc which cost money, but then, I don't have any idea
what ProgSoc needs to spend money on. This is just a question.
Enlightenment will be forthcoming, I'm sure. :)
