<a lot of stuff>
Which I agree with wholeheatedly...
MANY consumers have come into where I work asking for Win95 cos they saw
the ads. MS Press Release - "Win95 *may not be able to do all the things
promised* due to hype".
We work building and selling computers to home and small business... and
you would be surprised how many uninformed buyers there are out there...
or maybe you wouldn't, and can't wait to rip all the money out of their
pockets...
This string has yet to get on to the "tactic" of writing programs
deliberatley to take more memory, require more RAM, and need a faster
processor. There is so much pressure in the computing market to have the
latest new toy... when many users can make do with what they have easily...
I think I've now had 4cents in this debate... which rounds up to 5.
Maybe I'll reach 10 by the time this is done. Who knows...?
