A group tied to the University (thats this university, not another one) is
looking to have an in house system developed for controlling it's day to day
operations.
They're looking at having it developed on a pc based system, hopefully with
an MS Windows interface.
The current system is paper oriented, with some computer spreadsheets and
the like .. so some analysis will be required, and development of the new
system would need to be undertaken in consultation with the 'customer'.
I was hoping that someone in Progsoc would either be willing to look into
developing the system, or could put me in contact with people who do this
kind of work. At the moment we're just finding out who is available to do
the work, so no details of payment or length of time required are known.
