The JLP and things that matter...

I realise that I could be missing bits of the whole JLP argument, and
there could also be irregularities in what I am proposing, but what would
the posibility be of asking members to VOTE on whether there should be a
JLP? It doesn't necessarily have to be binding, but I feel it would
provide a better alternative then what seems to me to be petty arguments
(don't mean to offend).

Perhaps the proponants and detractors of a JLP could make points on this
mailing list (but not TOO many points... we've all got other mail) and we
could vote in a few days or something (with a few days to vote).
