I feel that Alex is possibly confusing or over-complicating the
situation... Here is the answer for Tim (I think it was Tim, anyway...)

Assuming you have a hd with nothing on it. Then go through OS/2 install-
ation. Partition hd :

1Mb Boot Manager (Bootable)
C: ??Mb FAT DOS Partition (Primary)
D: ??Mb HPFS/FAT OS/2 Partition (Primary or Logical; Installable)

Add both c: and d: to the Boot Manager menu.

Install OS/2 into d:.

Then, install DOS into c: drive in the normal fashion.

If DOS finds any non-formatted partitions, it will probably ask if you
wish for them to be formatted. If you say no, it will exit the install
process.
