TADS problem - solved!

can anyone tell me why the line:

youDam := rand(global.armlev/75) + 4 * (global.armlev/75) - theDam;

..which worked with the PC TADS, had to be changed to:

youDam := (rand(global.armlev + 1) + 4 * (global.armlev))/75 - theDam;

..for the Sun TADS?
