Subject: DOOM Comp. Loans Needed NOW!
Hi Guys,
Please send me an email NOW if you're willing to help in the setup of the
DOOM Competition. Here is what we need:
* 4 PCs, 486 at least, SVGA Screens
* 4 Network cards that can do ethernet
* 4 Soundblaster (or similar) sound cards
Peter Meric is co-ordinating the equipment side of the competition 'cause
he knows more about this sort of setup stuff than I do... so please contact
him if you can spare the equipment, or would like to help.
Remember the DOOM comp is on Friday 16th Dec, which is only 1 week + 2 days
away.. we have to get moving. I *know* there are people on this list who
(a) have this stuff and (b) know how to set it up... if you can spare the
time it will be of great help to ProgSoc (ask ye not how progsoc may serve
ye, but rather blah blah :-)
(Thanks to Matt for volunteering to help already, should be more of it I say).
As I said I will post comp structure and rules of play as soon as the play
testers work them out :-)
