There are a number of things you can do.

1. Put a .forward file in your itd account that contains the name of the
account you want mail forwarded to. This wont work if you dont have an itd
account (ie its been deleted). I assume itd delete accounts, so this option
is no good.

2. Ask some itd person really nicely to put your name in the system-wide
aliases file. This means you dont need an account, but you do need to be
nice.

3. Tell people to send you mail at ftoomsh. For instance, you can send a
message to the progsoc mailserver to tell it to send progsoc stuff to
your ftoomsh account. Make arrangements with any other mailing lists you
are on and get them to change where they send their mail.
