I have been elevated to standin-acting-temporary-pro-admin for the time
being but I think we need to elect a new CSO. The CSO's job would not
really involve much work as most things that need to be done such as
installations should be done by regular users. The CSO (sbg correct me if
I am wrong) would involve fixing things that break and a small amount of
routine type maintenance. Users should be responsible for setting major
things up. I believe this is an executive position within Progsoc and as
such one would need to be voted in by the masses. This would require a
MEETING! So I now put forward the need for such a meeting. Anyone with
suggestions as to when/where post the list. We should also work out who is
doing what with which. This is probably a task for the new CSO so I won't
say much more about that.
At the moment there are no backups for ftoomsh. I think that once things
start moving along this is something that should be done. BUT currently
Progsoc doesn't have the necessary equipment to do this (tape drive).
I think this is something we should consider aquiring.
More to be said at the Meeting.
