It is quite possible that 'Colin Panisset` wrote most of the following:
#
# Once upon a time, Chris Keane - Chief ENS Pointyhead was heard to say:
#
# } If it IS a SPARCprinter, it takes "normal" (or at least "available") Xerox
# } replacement bits. You should be aware that printer consumables are at least
# } moderately hideously expensive, so we may wish to implement printer accounting
# } and charge a fixed number of cents per page.
#
# Although I'm normally against the idea of accounting (because it's normally
# accounting for accounting's sake), I'd agree with its use in this case.
#
# I'd argue for the use of some kind of preventative accounting as well -- you
# pays your cash *before* you wants to print, and that buys you a certain
# number of pages. With no balance, you doesn't print. Stops people printing
# the entire works of shakespeare just to see what the image on page 1,200 is
# like (and trust me -- people will do this if you let them. I see it all
# the time).
#

Fine, but as Sbg mentioned earlier, there is still the problem of
_where_ to put it and who's gonna support it. Sbg - would you lot (4/447
boyz) object to having it in there where either you or a ftoomsh sys. admin.
or a rostered person or just any member could stock it as necessary ??? (this
may be a nice learning experience for everyone but possibly at the printer's
expense ?)

# } That's my $0.02 worth, even though I didn't have to print it.
#
# I've added my $0.02, so that's $0.04 in favour now.
#

I see your $0.04 and raise you $0.02.
