Before everyone else starts answering, I'd like to give you this advice:
offer to help. There are only a couple of people who are actively doing
things within the society. Almost everyone else seems content to sit back
and watch.
Everything ProgSoc is doing is announced on the mailing list. If you
haven't seen anything saying ``I'm working on questions'' or ``We're
negotiating a date for an event'' or ``There's a bunch of us getting
together to work out how to train people for this kind of thing'' then it
hasn't happened and maybe someone should be volunteering to do it.
