I agree, although su-type-progs and op-type-progs can restrict the
root-executable programs allowed as well as log what is done by whom and
when, I feel (IMHO) each Sys Admin should have root passwd - as long as
they have good intercommunication about what they are up to - there's not
much point in having X Sys Admins that are installing multiple copies of
the same groovy programs . . .
BUT, if that is the case, SOCS may have something to say about who
is given root access (SBG/Peter G ???) as the machine is currently on
'their' net.
