Gaijining yes, galavanting no (for those of you unaquainted with the
technique, gaijining is when you act like dimwit foringer that doesn't
understand a word of Japanise - it's really useful for, say, dealing with
the police when you've just been pulled up for jay-walking). Incidentally,
I am now receiving my e-mail here at USLP so mail sent to chrisf@nospam.sw.oz.au
should get to me (it will take upwards of a few hours to get here, sigh).

Well, I'll be back in two months ... I was going to borrow my mother's car,
can anyone else beg/borrow/steal a vehicle for a few hours? (NOTE: THIS
MESSAGE SHOULD NOT BE MISCONSTRUED TO CONDONE THE THEFT OF VEHICLES FOR PROGSOC
PURPOSES! :-) If some is feeling *particularly* game, they could catch a taxi
from OTC and try take it as hand luggage!

I'll keep it in mind.
