There have been cases brought against the operators of bulletin boards which
have established that the service provider does have some obligation (``due
care?'') to ensure the contents are legit. Eg: BBS operator gets in poo
because there's masses of pirated software on their system, even though
they claim they didn't know it was there. Hopefully ``due care'' is
just a policy statement.
