Sporting activities

Bharat has organised several inter-varsity sporting activities. Some of the more notable events are the Combined Uni Soccer Competition, Touch Footy Comp, the UTS (Bharat) V Macquarie Uni(Indus) Annual Circket Day and UTS V UNSW(T aj) Softball Match. We entered both mixed and female teams in these events and we are hoping for more female support this year to encourage our strong, athletic side of UTS.

We have hosted and promoted Indian dancing troupes in relation to the "India Today" program. This was an event sponsored by the Australian Government to further develop cutural relations between Australia and India.
